Music in Exile, Vol. 5: Chamber Works by Dmitri Klebanov
Dmitri Lvovich Klebanov (1907 - 1987) was both a Jew and a Ukrainian nationalist, a combination which placed his life in peril under the increasingly anti-Semitic Soviet regime of the late 1940s. The ARC Ensemble introduces three of Klebanov’s chamber works in this premiere recording, the fifth of its acclaimed "Music in Exile" series.
All proceeds from CD sales will be donated to the humanitarian relief efforts for the people of Ukraine.
